Tamara Silberberg, Director – Jerusalem
Since 2007, Tamara has been responsible for policy, planning and oversight of the Keren Or facility in Jerusalem. Tamara has broad experience in management and consultancy working in both Australia and Israel. Prior to joining Keren Or, Tamara served as the Director of Services for the Elderly in the Former Soviet Union at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Tamara holds an MSW from Melbourne University in Australia.

Nava Galkop, Head of Health Professions (Therapies) - Jerusalem

Nava brings a collaborative approach to the Keren Or team as a result of her broad experience with children who are visually impaired and have multiple disibilities. Prior to coming to Keren Or she spent time working in the multi-disciplinary pediatric clinic at Shaarei Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. Nava holds a Masters in Physical Therapy from the U.K.

Maya Goldman, Senior Staff Counselor - Jerusalem

Maya is a social worker, psychotherapist, activist and academic orator. She is a recipient of the Shield of the Child Award. Maya was the founder and executive director of Kesher, Israel's first national information and counseling center for parents of children with special needs.


Elizabeth David-Dembrowsky, Executive Director – Keren Or Inc., New York
Elizabeth oversees Keren Or’s advocacy and development projects. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University, an M.A. in Writing from the University of Warwick, and a J.D. from the Brooklyn School of Law.
